After taking months off social media, actress Song Da Eun is now speaking out against dating rumors regarding BTS Jimin and allegations connected to the past Burning Sun nightclub scandal.
On April 4, KST, the Heart Signal 2 star returned to Instagram, posting a series of Instagram Stories that alluded to the reasons behind her hiatus and directly addressed speculation surrounding her personal life.
"There was a reason I stayed quiet and inactive on social media for the past few months," Song wrote, implying legal action had been taken against individuals spreading harmful comments online.
Song was criticized for social media posts in 2024 that many thought suggested she was in a romantic relationship with BTS's Jimin.
At the time, Song's posts ignited heated discussions among fans and netizens.

Song was also accused of being connected to the Burning Sun scandal that swept headlines in 2019 and led a number of celebrities to be investigated for crimes ranging from drug use, assault, and police corruption. Song denied any such association.
"In the end, am I still the bad one? Burning Sun, bar hostess, fake news? I'm not that," she stated.
"I'm not just talking nonsense. It's not even my story you're reading. It's just what you want to believe and spread."
The actress also addressed the resurfaced dating rumors with Jimin, clarifying that she was not concerned with fandom opinions but rather the harassment and insults directed at her.
"This is a comment from one of the people who already got sued," she said, including a screenshot of a malicious message. "So, if you don't want to get sued for similar stuff, you'd better just stay quiet."
Song's statements have since reignited discussion online, with some expressing support and others remaining skeptical of her explanations.
Neither BTS's label, BIGHIT MUSIC, nor Jimin have issued any public statements regarding the dating rumors.
Song Da Eun is best known for her appearance on the reality dating show Heart Signal 2 and has acted in various dramas.
