Paul McCartney U.S Tour Dates Postponed After Viral Infection

Paul McCartney was reportedly forced to postpone several tour dates in Asia last month due to a viral infection.

The postponement has caused the delay of his U.S. dates as well, according to USA Today.

McCartney is currently following his doctor's advice to rest up before returning to his highly anticipated tour.

"I'm sorry but it's going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I'm feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon," stated McCartney in a statement.

The ex-Beatle was reportedly hospitalized in Tokyo in May after having to scrap a handful of dates in Japan and one in South Korea, then canceling all remaining dates of his Asian tour.

His wife, Nancy Shevell, was seen by his side throughout the six nights the musician spent being cared for by doctors at the St. Luke's International Hospital in the Japanese capital last month, according to the Telegraph U.K.
