Could Rose Byrne make a hot wife for Zac Efron? In an interview with women's magazine Cleo, the 'Neighbors' star said about his co-star, Rose Bryne, ''She might be my favourite actress in the world!"
Efron said, ''She's got like a light about her you can't teach or learn. It's really kinda magical. In this movie she plays a strong, funny, easy-going woman. She's gonna redefine what you want a wife to be.''
He added, ''Australian girls are incredibly charming. [Rose] has a unique perspective on life, it's really upbeat and funny. You could say that's gotta be from Australia.''
Efron is reportedly single, although there were rumors that he was dating non-Australian actress Halston Sage, who also in the movie 'Neighbors', for a number of months.
An insider told Contactmusic about Efron and Sage, ''They were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab they got a lot closer.''
Meanwhile, Rose Byrne has just signed on to make her Broadway debut in the upcoming revival of Moss Hart's play "You Can't Take it With You" according to Variety.
The 'Bridesmaids' star will play Alice, the daughter of the quirky Sycamore family whose potential marriage to an uptight family causes a stir.
"You Can't Take it With You" will have music from three time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown and will be directed by Scott Ellis.
The play will also star James Earl Jones, Annaleigh Ashford, and Kristine Neilsen.
"You Can't Take it With You"will begin previews on August 26 with an opening set for September 28.
Byrne will also be seen in two other movies which will be released later this year, "This Is Where I Leave You" and "Annie" which also stars Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhané Wallis, and Byrne's real life boyfriend Bobby Cannavale.
