But according to reports from VG24/7, Microsoft claimed that Batman Arkham Knight will be released on February 24, 2014 as the Xbox One and PC retail prices have been leaked throughout the internet.

Rocksteady previously announced that the Batman: Arkham Knight's release date was pushed back on 2015.

"Now Batman: Arkham Knight is totally awesome," Rocksteady's Dax Ginn said. "The thing about awesome, though, is awesome takes time. And totally awesome takes a lot of time. So in collaboration with our colleagues at Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, we have decided to extend the development time of Batman: Arkham Knight."

"The very simple reason for doing this is to ensure we are delivering the awesome level of quality that Batman fans and gamers expect from this, the final episode and the epic conclusion to the Rocksteady Arkham trilogy."

Meanwhile, a new DLC pack for the game has been revealed!

Polygon reports that the new Batman Arkham Knight Scarecrow Pack will be PS4 exclusive content and will feature Batman fighting a gigantic version of the villain Scarecrow as described by playstation.com.

Batman Arkham Knight is the last installment of the Arkham game series and it will feature returning villains Harley Quinn, Penguin, and Two-Face as well as a new original character the Arkham Knight.
