George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding details are being released! Clooney's Aunt Staria shared some details about her niece's upcoming nuptials to Amal Alamuddin to the Daily Mail recently.
Staria, who is married to George's paternal uncle Joe Clooney, told the Daily Mail that she thinks Clooney will pick friend Brad Pitt as his best man for the big day.
Clooney's aunt said, "I would say he'd choose Brad Pitt for his best man. They are good friends, I would think that's who he'd choose."
She also talked about the location for George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding, saying, "I do know that Nick and Nina [George's parents] are planning a trip over to Italy in the next week or so to, I guess, scope out some stuff."
Clooney's cousin Ben Breslin also told the Daily Mail, "When he came in the front door, I was looking around asking, 'Where is she?' He explained she's a lawyer and apparently she's across the sea somewhere working on a case. It's a shame because I would have liked to have met her.
It seems likely that his Lake Como villa would be the location of the wedding, as George Clooney has been granted two new protection laws in Lake Como, Italy, preventing fans and paparazzi from getting close to his residence according to Us magazine.
Mayor Roberto Pozzi, told Us Weekly, "We have not received any formal requests yet. But we are ready for any requests."
"It is now completely forbidden to stop outside the entrance to Clooney's villa," Pozzi added, "It's a question of traffic and security. It is very dangerous and it's also an issue of privacy."
On the lake side of the property, anyone sailing or swimming within 100 meters from Clooney's villa could be fined up to 500 euros ($680).
