Steve Austin news features "Stone Cold's" statements regarding UFC light heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones and how the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) icon wants the young champion to "get his ass kicked."

"Stone Cold" appeared on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour about what he thinks about "Bones" and his present stature as the current king of the 205-pound division.

"I mean, you hear a little stuff on the side, about his lifestyle," Austin said. "I mean, his lifestyle is a little bit different than what he preaches. But, as a fighter, premiere. And, God, in the light heavyweight division!"

Steve Austin news also reveals the pro wrestler's opinions on the first fight between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustaffson, and what he thinks once both men meet once again on September 27th at UFC 178.

"Gustafsson really handed him his ass and took him in the deepest water that he's ever been in," Austin continued. "So that's going to be a hell of a rematch."

Jon Jones has not been on the audiences' good side as of late. The 26-year old champion has been taunting fight fans through his Instagram videos as a form of response to the criticisms thrown towards him.

Apparently, "Bones" has also drawn the ire of "Stone Cold", but the 49-year old native of Victoria, Texas, did give his reasons.

"Yeah, (he annoys me), but in a good way," he said about the Steve Austin news. "I would love to see him get his ass kicked, because it's going to take a hell of a man to be able to do that."

"I come from pro wrestling, I'm not a judge; but I think he (Gustafsson) did enough last time to get that victory," he added.

Steve Austin has played both the good guy role (face) and bad guy role (heel) in professional wrestling. He has been in active competition for 13 years, and has deep knowledge about the business side of sports and its athletes.

But for the most part, Jon Jones' presence in mixed martial arts as a sports brand does not sit well for him.

"He kind of gets on my nerves because I think he's living two lives," Austin said. "To a degree, yes (he is a hypocrite)."
