A new trailer of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix has been revealed.

The official Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel uploaded the new trailer that features the HD and SD comparisons of the original games in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix.

You would instantly see the difference from the original SD visuals of the games to the HD version as well as different costumes for Sora, Donald and Goofy during the Nightmare before Christmas stage.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix is the second HD remastered game from the Kingdom Hearts series, and it contains past titles such as Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Re:coded.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will be available on December 2, 2014 in North America and December 5, 2014 in Europe.

Meanwhile, new Final Fantasy characters are rumored to be added in the game.

According to reports from savecontinue.com,these characters are Tidus and Wakka of Final Fantasy X, Selphie Tilmitt of Final Fantasy VIII and Lightning Farron of Final Fantasy XIII.

Gaming fans wanted to see the grown up versions of Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie. These three characters originally appeared in the first game as childhood friends of Sora, Kairi, and Riku in Destiny Island.

As for Lightning, she was reported to be part of Kingdom Hearts 3 as a photo of her in the game was leaked before in the internet hinting that her appearance might happen.

Square Enix game producer Shinji Hashimoto talked about the status of Kingdom Hearts 3. Fans were disappointed that both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV are not present in E3 2014 last month.

"We are are working diligently on KH3, but I think releasing new information will still take some time. We included a small part regarding the story of KH3 In the new trailer KH 2.5 prepared for E3 2014, so please check that out."

Hashimoto further teased fans by stating that the official date of the game is still a "secret" and that gaming fans will have to wait for the big surprise.
