The official beta trailer for the upcoming sci-fi shooter Destiny has been revealed.
The trailer features the game’s impressive graphics and gameplay features such as character customization, multiplayer combat, story mode missions and many more.
Plus, three collector’s edition and two expansion packs for Destiny has been revealed.
According to reports form VG 24/7, these are Limited Edition, Ghost Edition, and the Digital Guardian Edition.
The Limited Edition will cost $99.99, while the Ghost Edition cost $149.99. The features of both editions are as follows
Limited Edition
a) Limited edition SteelBook Case and Game Disc
b) Guardian Folio, which includes Arms & Armament Field Guide, postcards from the Golden Age and an antique Star Chart
c) Collector’s Edition Digital Content Pack, which includes unique Ghost casing, exclusive player emblem, exclusive player ship variant
d) Destiny Expansion Pass, which includes access to two expansion coming post-launch
Ghost Edition
a) Ghost replica, featuring motion-activated lights and voice recordings from award-winning actor Peter Dinklage, voice of the Ghost character, the player’s personal companion in the game
b) Letter of Introduction
c) Golden Age Relics, which include a Photo, Patch, Sticker and two Chrome slides of the Traveler
As for the Digital Guardian Edition, it will be available for digital pre-orders which includes a digital copy of the game along with the Expansion Pass and all the digital content found in the Collector’s Edition.
Meanwhile, the two expansion packs are “The Dark Below” and “House of Wolves” as each pack will cost $19.99 individually, or $34.99 for the Expansion Pass.
a) Expansion I: The Dark Below – set deep beneath the surface of the Moon, discover an ancient tomb that has been unsealed, and a dark god who has risen an evil army in the depths of the Hellmouth, the home of the Hive enemy race.
b) Expansion II: House of Wolves – details will be revealed soon.
c) PlayStation platforms will also include additional exclusive content for Expansion I and II and will remain exclusive until at least Fall of 2015
Destiny is a massively multiplayer online action role-playing first -person shooter game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. Destiny incorporates a "mythic science fiction" theme as players delve into the post-apocalyptic world of the game. Players assume the role of the "Guardians" the last defenders of humanity that are tasked to defend what is left mankind after the catastrophic event known as "the Collapse" that destroyed many colonies in space during Golden Age.
