Japanese-based mobile phone manufacturer, Sony, has officially unveiled its latest smartphone model, the Xperia C3. The company claims it to be the best selfie phone to go out on the market, with great social media sharing features.
The unveiled handset is expected to arrive with a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera (25mm with 80-degree field of view), enabling the users to capture more in a single photo. It also comes with a unique soft flash besides the camera that users could easily snap selfies even at night. Shots can be taken either by double tapping the phone's back or via Smile Shutter.
The Xperia C3 front camera also comes with a Superior Auto mode, which automatically adjust photos for the lighting conditions. Auto scene recognition was also included to work together with HDR and LED flash This ensures users to capture the best selfies.
Other features of the new smartphone include Timeshift-burst, Picture effects, Movie Creator, Social live, and Sweep Panorama, and Portrait Retouch, which enables users to perform real-time makeover of up to two people, with choices from 10 different beauty styles, 10 DECO frame options, and 6 eye reflection pattern changes. The Xperia C3 is also equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera, an Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, and features like SteadyShot that ensures smooth and distortion-free video capture.
Other hardware features of the smartphone are just as impressive. In fact, Sony has announced that it will have a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with BRAVIA technology, capable of delivering an HD resolution.
Under the hood, the Xperia C3 runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of internal memory, and expandable up to 32GB via micro SD. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi networks, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS receiver. It's going to be powered by a 2500mAh battery that can deliver up to 30 hours of talk time or up to 1093 hours of standby time. Furthermore, this model is pre-installed with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
Sony Xperia C3 will be come in black, white, and mint colors. they will become available in August, starting in China.
