New updates for Mortal Kombat X have been revealed regarding four new characters and a rumored release date.
Amazon recently released a listing of Mortal Kombat X's release date, but gave it a vague 2015. According to gaming news site Cyberland, an insider claimed that the PR officer for NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that the Mortal Kombat X release date is set for March 2015 on digital download.
There are also four new characters that added to Mortal Kombat X and these are the demonic comic book superhero Spawn, and MK classics Motaro, Ermac, and Smoke.
Twitter user @JordanFortiz tweeted a photo of Spawn to Ed Boon hinting that the Mortal Kombat creator might consider adding him into the roster.
Ed Boon pointed out before that he might add Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees in to Mortal Kombat X as guest characters, but adding Spawn into the mix will give fans something to talk about.
Meanwhile, Gamer Headlines reports that YouTube username “Maximilian Dood” uploaded a game review of Mortal Kombat X, and mentioned that Ermac and Smoke are possibly added to game.
The game website also posted a concept art design of Ermac, and a photo of Smoke being killed by the new character Kotal Khan.
As for Motaro, playstationlifestyle.net reports that Motaro might comeback in the new Mortal Kombat title, although NetherRealm Studios or Ed Boon had any sort of confirmation about it.
So what do you think of the new updates for Mortal Kombat X?
