Germany has won the World Cup with just one goal against Argentina. The winning goal came from Mario Guetz coming in as a substitute in extra time. After a goalless match in the fist 90mim, approximately 40minutes were added as extra time.

This time it was not Muller or Klose with the winning goal but Guetz scoring in the 113 minute.

It looked like a tiebreaker loomed as both sides were unable to convert their shots into goals. And the goalkeepers on both sides kept a vigilant eye on the ball making exceptional saves.
