Adam Silver NBA Commissioner Press Conference: NBA Commissioner Adam Silver discussed a number of sticking points at a news conference after the Governing Board meeting. Silver talked about a midseason tournament like the F A Cup in England.

The NBA commissioner also talked about an award show via Television. Other topics that Commissioner Silver was excited about was James Lebron's return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Adam Silver described LeBron's transition from Miami Heat as a significant move for the Cavaliers.
Adam Silver was not hesitant to discuss the possibility that embattled Los Angeles Clippers boss Donald Sterling might still be in charge of the Clippers at the beginning of next season.
"It's very difficult to say anything with certainty in a situation like this," Sterling said, adding "I can say with certainty we are doing everything in our power to move Donald out as an owner in the NBA."
Silver speaking at the sidelines of the Board of Governor's meeting, "We're in essence on hold since that sale is being challenged by her husband as to whether she has the right."
The NBA boss added, "If the court finds in her favor, the sale will move forward. If not, we will move
forward with our own proceedings," Fox reported
Silver said Donald is suing the NBA for a hefty sum of money and the NBA will have to shell out a large sum to fight the case.
The Sterling case is currently in a probate court to determine if the sale of the Clippers to Steve Ballmer for a record $2 Billion by Shelly Sterling is legal.
Shelly' lawyers say that she was given the right to sell based on signed testimony by Donald' s doctors that he is 'mentally incapacitated. ' Sterling' inability to function as a trustee of the Sterling Family Trust was assumed after a diagnosis that Mr. Sterling had Alzheimer's Disease.
