Which is device is the ideal purchase for consumers? We pit the LG G3 against the Blackberry Z30 to see which is better.

In terms of display and dimensions, The LG G3 has a bigger display, having an IPS LCD with the size of 5.5 inches that is capable of supporting a resolution of 1,440×2,560pixels, while the Blackberry Z30’s Super AMOLED screen has the size of 5inches, and it renders a resolution of 720×1,280pixels and a pixel density of 295ppi, a lot lower than G3’s 534ppi. Also, the BlackBerry has an advantage over the LG G3 with a natural sound technology that offers a realistic sound quality.

The LG G3 has a thickness of 0.35 inches and a weight of 149 grams, while the Blackberry Z30 has a thickness of 0.37 inches, and it’s also heavier, weighting at 170 grams. Although it’s bigger, the G3 is lighter than its competitor.

The LG G3 is an Android that runs on the v4.4.2 KitKat OS, while the BlackBerry Z30 is runs on the BlackBerry 10.2 OS.

For battery and camera specs, the LG G3’s battery has the capacity of 3000mAh, while the Blackberry Z30 has a non-removable battery with a lower capacity – 2880mAh.The LG G3 is equipped with a 13MP primary camera (dual-LED (dual tone) flash) and a 2.1MP secondary camera. LG G3 shoots a 4K (3,840×2,160) videos and it has a quick laser autofocus that takes 0.276 sec to focus. Other features of the G3’s camera are the “Selfie” Mode, simultaneous video and image recording and voice activation option.

Meanwhile, the Blackberry Z30 has an 8MP primary camera with an only LED flash, and a 2MP secondary camera.

The LG G3 16GB variant costs around $780, while the Blackberry Z30 16GB variant has a price of $400.
