Vin Diesel is just thrilled for his new movie "Fast and Furious 7." The latest movie in the "Fast and Furious" franchise has just recently wrapped up with filming.
Diesel who earlier reports cited as being difficult on set after friend and co-star Paul Walker's death took to Facebook his excitement for the movie. He shared about a particular scene with his fans.
According to Diesel the particular "race war" final scene was shot in LA- "where it all began." He also took time to recognize the extras who worked with them in the scene.
"The extras helping us to create the Race Wars scene, are doing such a great job... really impressed with their spirit, in spite of the scorching desert sun, haha...
And to Universal, who made sure we could deliver on the promise, to bring the saga home... where it all began."
A casting call was set in June to look for men and women aged 18-30, "all ethnicities, all shapes and sizes." The final scene took place in Bakersfield, California with almost 600 people involved.
According to Enstarz, "Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. James Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise."
"The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Diesel, Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film."
"Fast and Furious 7" is slated for an April 3, 2015 release.
