Shania Twain might join "Dancing with the Stars" as the country singer is looking release a new album this year.
During a Facebook chat sponsored by Ceasar's Palace for Shania Twain recently, the "Still The One" singer answered "I'd consider it!" when asked if she would likely join "Dancing With The Stars," Fox News reported.
In an article by Hollywoodlife.com, it was reported by a source of the showbiz website that there is a big possibility of having Shania Twain join "Dancing With the Stars."
"Those at DWTS are very confident that Shania Twain will join the show in its next season. She is very, very, very close to signing on the show," said the source.
The "Any Man of Mine" singer is performing at the Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas since 2012, and is planning to tour outside Vegas. The move would be a breakthrough for her after she divorced her then-song composer-turned-husband Robert Mutt Lunge, and was diagnosed by a vocal condition called dysphonia.
"I think I'm going to do more. I guess it's just something I'm enjoying more now than I have in a long time. Vegas has been a really good transition for me to get back onstage again, and I guess I'm enjoying it," Twain told The Boot.
She also added that she might release a new album sometime in the future, a follow up to the 2002 album "Up!"
"It's my priority this year and I will be in the studio as soon as I can get in, get my ducks in a row - I'm working on it all the time right now," Shania Twain was quoted as saying by The Boot. "I've been writing for it for a long time now, I've got lots of things so it's really about putting the puzzle together now.
Apart from Shania Twain joining "Dancing with the Stars," Ashley Gold, L.A. Galaxy star Landon Donovan and goalkeeper Tim Howard are reportedly signed to join "Dancing with the Stars" when it premieres in September 2014. At the moment, however, Shania Twain is in the midst of closing her Caesar's Palace show which will come to an end on July 26.
