"Teen Mom" Catelynn Lowell and boyfriend Tyler Baltierra have confirmed that they are pregnant with their second child, said a report from Daily Mail. Soon after the recent confirmation, the young dad posted a touching throwback tribute for their firstborn, who they gave up for adoption five years ago.
Us Weekly reported the tribute: "The moment we never wanted to end #ThrowBackThursday #Carly #Adoption #MyGirls," the father-of-two captioned in his photo cradling their first daughter, Carly.
"I was too young when I got pregnant with Carly - I was sad and scared," "Teen Mom" Catelynn Lowell confessed.
The second pregnancy of Teen Mom Catelynn Lowell was revealed earlier this week via an Instagram post. The 22-year-old TV personality from MTV reality shows "Teen Mom" and "16 and Pregnant" uploaded a photo on Wednesday showing her growing baby bump, with the caption: "It's official 4 months!".
The photo was taken during the reality star's visit to a Michigan harbor, said Daily Mail.
Tyler Baltierra also posted the same photo in his Instagram account, proudly announcing that he was going to be a father the second time around.
Us Weekly recalled how "Teen Mom" Catelynn Lowell and boyfriend Tyler Baltierra decided to place their newborn daughter up for adoption back in 2009. The ordeal was documented on the first season of "16 and Pregnant".
MTV's spin-off series "Teen Mom" went on to chronicle the emotional adoption process. The two have remained in contact with their daughter's adoptive parents and visit her twice a year.
The TV personality and her longtime boyfriend Tyler Baltierra are expecting their second child on January 2015.
The young mom revealed to In Touch that she made a conscious decision three months ago to stop using birth control so that she and Tyler Baltierra could conceive another baby after their firstborn.
"I would've felt guilty if I got pregnant again when Carly was one or two. But we've both been yearning for this," Catelynn Lowell admitted to In Touch, adding: "We're ready to have a baby."
