"The Mentalist" Season 7 Spoilers: Fans of this hit series may not have to wait longer. There are speculations that the air date may come earlier than expected.

Everyone - the cast and crew - is already back to work. Television and film actor Tim Kang, who plays the role of Kimball Cho, hinted in his tweet about the resumption of the filming of the popular series. It reads: "Had to be here at 5am. I'm sleepy. HA!"

Another spoiler for "The Mentalist" Season 7: It may have shorter 13 episodes in its series finale. According to Christian Today, Patrick Jane, played by Simon Baker, may also be the focus of the story as he and Teresa Lisbon, a role played by Robin Tunney, continues on in their relationship. However, they will find themselves involved in a love triangle.

It can be recalled that Patrick confessed to Teresa about his feelings for her in the sixth season. The season ended with Patrick stopping Jane from leaving, and with the two kissing thereby leaving fans craving for more. With season 7 coming, fans can say that it is worth the wait, as they can therefore look forward to romance-filled episodes.

Bruno Heller, the executive producer of the show, told the Hollywood Reporter: "After [Red John] goes, for both Lisbon and Jane, there is a palpable sense of 'What now? Do I really want to continue doing the same thing?' It left the two of them without an excuse to decide where that relationship was going. They had always been able to keep it separate. Those questions start bubbling up and the rest of the season was the resolution of those questions."

But wait; a new female character will go in between. That makes the story more exciting.

Reports also had it that Michelle Vega, a new character, will have conflicts with Patrick since he and the new FBI agent differ in their strategies. Michelle's practices are all in line with what's written in the books and she's also someone who will try to impress her bosses.

"The Mentalist" Season 7 spoilers are enough for fans to get excited to watch it.
