The Rurouni Kenshin The Legend Ends Extended Trailer has been released online!

Fans who have watched Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto Inferno are clearly anticipating the release of Rurouni Kenshin The Legend Ends because of Kyoto Inferno's cliffhanger ending. Huge spoilers ahead for those who haven't seen Kyoto Inferno though so read at your own risk.

The Rurouni Kenshin The Legend Ends extended trailer and behind the scenes videos and pictures were revealed and it confirms the identity of the mystery man that picked up the unconscious body of Kenshin Himura at the end of Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto Inferno, and what is their relationship at the third movie.

Fans have speculated that the mystery man at the end of Kyoto Inferno is Hiko Seijuro XIII, the swordman who taught Kenshin the Hiten Mitsurugi style of swordfighting, and they are right!

As revealed on the video above, Hiko Seijuro was seen giving Kenshin a serious beatdown and a picture of Hiko and Kenshin having a serious staredown/clash during Kenshin's time as Battousai.

In the anime, Kenshin never really completed his training under Hiko Seijuro and only learned the final few techniques of the Hiten Mitsurugi when he went to Hiko Seijuro after his first bout with Soujiro Seta. The movie mirrors the anime and manga by hinting that Seijuro is by far the best swordsman in the series by showing that Hiko Seijuro severely outclasses Kenshin as he was seen outpacing and beating Kenshin with just a wooden sword during the Rurouni Kenshin The Legend Ends behind the scenes video shown above.

Can wait to see how the Hiko Seijuro vs Kenshin Himura training session looks like in the final film? Did the Rurouni Kenshin The Legend Ends extended trailer and behind the scenes video shown above get you hyped? Sound off in the comments section below!
