"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy previously dished that the show and its characters will all return to McKinley High School, the place where they founded the Glee Club.
Now, new spoilers have been revealed and it has been confirmed that Lea Michele, who plays the character of Rachel Berry will return to the school to actually revive the club for the show's last season, according to MTV News.
Last season, Berry struggled to make her long-time dreams of becoming an actress come true. And since that didn't work out for her, what better way to make a comeback than to return to her roots.
This coming season, Berry will find out that coach Sue Sylvester, portrayed by actress Jane Lynch, banished the arts program at McKinley high and she will do everything in her power to reinstate it all.
Meanwhile, Blaine Anderson, played by actor Darren Criss and Sam, portrayed by Chord Overstreet, will both be returning to the school. They will have new jobs and the latter will also have new gigs that will make it possible for him to hone his talents in impersonating characters, SJ News Online reported.
Original cast members Chris Colfer, who plays the character of Kurt and Kevin McHale, who plays the role of Artie will also continue to hit the stage this season.
Former regulars Amber Riley, who plays the role of Mercedes Jones and Coach Bieste, played by Dot-Marie Jones will also return as season 6 regulars, the same publication noted.
Earlier this week, actor Nolan Funk teased fans with a possible reunion with Criss by posting a photo via his Twitter account.
Multiple sources then revealed that the two will be facing each other again this coming season as rivals and not as friends.
Max Adler, who plays the character of Dave Karofsky will also return to possibly break Kurt and Blaine's long-time relationship.
