Chris Pratt's before and after workout changed his life for the best.

His now hot bod, and his equally awesome talent in acting has catapulted him to stardom. Chris has been known to play the goofy character in his previous movies, and while he has already had quite a following, nobody expected his post "Guardians of the Galaxy" fame.

In a recent interview with Esquire, Star-Lord shared that he was hesitant to take on the biggest movie role of his life, not because of his acting incapabilities, but because of his horrible shape.

"When Guardians of the Galaxy was pitched to me, I said, 'I don't think so.' I just didn't picture myself getting the role. I didn't want to go and embarrass myself like I did when I auditioned for G.I. Joe a couple of years previously. I went in there, and halfway through I saw the director's eyes just glaze over. It made sense—I was a little heavy and out of shape. I was not gonna play someone from G.I. Joe. I did not look like a G.I. Joe action figure come to life," he said.

But the real question here is how did he do it? Chris reportedly lost 60 pounds in 6 months and people want to copy the success in their own lives.

Men's Fitness, has fortunately published Chris before and after GOTG workout plan. The plan which consisted of circuit training, bodybuilding exercises and a calculated diet plan worked really well for the actor.

But as his personal trainer Duffy Gaver shared, the first 2 months of training focused more on bodybuilding workouts, next 2 months focused on 1 part bodybuilding, 1 part conditioning, and the last month focused on just conditioning concentrating on circuit routines, swimming, biking and faster-timed workouts.

And in order for Chris Pratt's before and after workout to work, he had to give something up.

"You can't have hashbrowns, or burgers, or anything fried. You can't have carbs. You have to work out five times a week," he told Esquire.
