Jason Mraz Retiring: ‘Love Someone’ Singer Wants To Rest After One More Album? Admits Producing ‘Feels Like A Corporate Job Sometimes'

If anyone thought of Jason Mraz retiring from the music industry, nobody thought it would be any time soon.

His discography has healed many touched hearts and fans are still hoping for Mraz to continue writing more uplifting songs.

However, the 37-year-old has already started a campaign with his manager using the hashtag #RetiredAt40, according to the San Angelo Standard-Times.

With just one more album left in his contract with Atlantic records, The 'I'm Yours' hitmaker is ready to settle down.

"I'm just ready for a break. It feels like a corporate job sometimes," the Grammy award winning singer said during a rehearsal for his 31-city tour. If possible, he would like to spend most of his days at his farm.

He reportedly wants to "garden more, surf more, have a kid, put some of the money he's saved from selling 4.5 million albums nationwide toward a good cause."

He loves the earth so much that he not only gives away seed packets (straight from his own farm) at his concerts, he also urges the audience to support local farmers.

Although his cause is noble, Jason Mraz retiring would be a loss to the music industry. Many Mraz fans in the past turned to his music for inspiration and a dose of positivity.

"I think the reason my music focuses on optimism," Mr. A-Z explained, "is because that's what I'm focused on so that I'm not depressed all the time."

He added, "It's no accident that every song is about, 'Here's how you can feel better,' because it's just in my nature to generally wake up on the wrong side of the bed."

The 'Remedy' singer makes it a point to meditate, repeat daily mantras, and focus on the present to keep his mental health stable and stress-free. This practice eventually translates into his hit songs.

How do think Jason Mraz retiring would affect the music industry? Will you miss his songs full of uplifting and soul soothing messages?
