"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" comedy series on Fox TV is about to start its second season this coming autumn.
Although relatively new, the sitcom has already succeeded in making itself stand out. As proof, it bested other shows when it received the award for the "2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series for Comedy or Musical." Not only that, one of its actors Andre Braugher is among the nominees for the Emmy Award for "Outstanding Comedy Actor in a Comedy Series," reported Fox.
These accolades only show that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" comedy series on Fox is a sitcom that rocks. Huffington Post TV gives viewers two good reasons why:
1. Yes, Andy Samber is one of the leads, but the sitcom does not revolve around him.
His being omnipresent in the show could lead viewers to think otherwise, but his presence aside, Andy is a fine comedian. Being frantic more often than not can make him a bit irritating but as the site puts it, his capers work wonderfully for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" comedy series on Fox. His being hyperactive is balanced perfectly by the pokerfaced humor Andre delivers, as well as the antics of the rest of the cast.
2. All the characters comprising the cast work well together.
Chemistry is what makes people click, whether it is in an endeavor or relationship. This is what makes the unique characters of the sitcom blend well together. The female casts' characters may seem a bit monotonous. However, this may be because the show centralizes on Peralta and Holt. On the whole, the show has well-combined personalities with good backgrounds. As a team, they perform well together, providing an effective humor that is not one-sided.
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" may seem to focus on the police station and nowhere else. But as Fox clarified, it is not about the workplace but the policemen and policewomen whose lives touch as personalities meet and interact while on the job.
