Destiny game for PS4/Xbox One versions will be released this midnight and we can only keep our hopes high on its record-breaking sales to make Bungie and Activision's gamble for 500 million US dollars (£310 million) all worth it!

Bungie president Harold Ryan said: "Destiny is the game we've always wanted to make. We've dreamt of this universe for years, so we couldn't be more thrilled to swing open the doors and let fans shape this experience as they tell their unique stories in the game. For us, the next generation of games is all about allowing players to collide and interact with each other as they take on epic, action-packed adventures all their own."

Destiny Beta has long shut its doors but we are just weeks away from the official release of theonline multiplayer first-person shooter video game we miss! In a recent interview, its developer Bungie promised that everything will be worth the wait because it's going to be a "huge game".

During the short period of time that we're able to have a feel of the mythic science fiction open world setting, we have already established a connection with our favorite guardians (which were wiped out);but we also felt that the game was limited for we can only explore one location per planet (of course, that was again the Beta version)!

Bungie director of production Jonty Barnes then shared: "If I'm honest with you, it blew my mind, because it's the biggest game we've ever made. I don't think people understand the depth and amount of game play there is in Destiny,"

Despite the negative assumptions surrounding Destiny and its developers, the studio guaranteed that what they will be releasing in September 9 is a game jam-packed with features, options, modes, and activities!

"The Beta has been eye-opening so far." This was the pronouncement made by Bungie during the end of this version.

"We've watched the world of Destiny come to life. Guardians from every platform have arrived at the Tower from their battles in the wild. We have watched your adventures with great interest, and listened to your feedback. Your missions have provided us with volumes of discoveries we can use to prepare for the launch of Destiny in September," the developer added.

From the creators of the critically acclaimed 'Halo' series, Bungie is poised to experience similar success when this upcoming game.

In fact, as per IGN, Bungie has already unveiled an expansion pass that will allow players to access DLC expansions for the game: "House of Wolves" and "The Dark Below" which are only exclusive for PlayStation users. No official release date of the DLCs has been announced yet.

Another rumored feature of Destiny is the 'Raid on the moon' - (i.e., raid is a six-person operation where players are challenged to surpass heavily guarded base and defeat opponents). This report surfaced when a Reddit user saw the Raid icon on the Legend tab of Bungie.net!
