Kanye West was hospitalized during his Yeezus tour, and an eye witness has claimed Kim Kardashian's husband had a seizure.
According to a report from Woman's Day, Kanye West was hospitalized in Melbourne's Epworth Hospital in Richmond around 2PM on Wednesday.
The rapper entered through the medical facility's back entrance with high security around him.
The 37-year-old artist was reportedly given an emergency MRI after suffering a migraine just hours before the Melbourne leg of his Yeezus tour.
An eyewitness named Loraine Terry shared the details with Women's Day. She was at Melbourne Epworth with her daughter when Kanye West was hospitalized.
"My daughter was having an MRI. Shortly after it began, security burst in and cleared the area," she narrated.
The eyewitness continued: "Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms. We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses - we couldn't leave as the MRI wasn't finished."
"Next thing we knew, Kanye was stretchered in surrounded by security," the Loraine Terry revealed to Woman's Day.
The eyewitness claimed hospital personnel requested for an urgent MRI upon seeing that Kanye West was having, or about to have, a seizure.
"He had one side of his face covered with something white. We both knew it was him because we had seen his photo in the paper everyday and we were shocked because it looked so serious," she narrated.
"Everyone was massively panicked," Loraine Terry adds. "And they were very nervous about making sure the area was completely clear.
"At one stage, one of his security men saw my daughter, who was lying on the MRI machine, turn her head and he insisted she had to go. We weren't even properly finished," she claimed.
Colleen Coghlan, a rep for Epworth Hospital, told Woman's Day: "Yesterday afternoon we had 50 people in our emergency department. All were treated with respect and according to the severity of their symptoms."
However, the spokesperson did not reveal details of Kanye West being hospitalized. "We do not discuss or talk publicly about our patients without their approval," she said.
Following the reported seizure, the rap superstar still continued with the Melbourne leg of his Yeezus tour. The concert was held at Rod Laver Arena just hours after he was discharged from Epworth Hospital at around 4PM.
His record label has announced that the tour will still continue as scheduled, but did not disclose information about Kanye West being hospitalized. "Kanye went on stage last night in Melbourne as scheduled. The tour continues at Sydney's Allphones Arena tomorrow and Saturday, before concluding in Brisbane on Monday night," a Live Nation rep said.
