In the previous year, people were thinking if the Hollywood comic book film trend was ever going to create a female superhero film, and now fans have seen two film successions. Marvel Studios is finally having a Wonder Woman film that's set to launch in 2017, after the foreword of the character of Gal Gadot in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Although, it is still premature for Wonder Woman and change could still happen between now until the filming of the movie starts, probably be in 2016, however Warner Bros, is said searching for a female director to wheel the first ever live-action movie of the most famous daughter of Paradise Island. Wonder Woman then journeys to visit the world outside Paradise Island, a world that is entirely different from hers.
Apparently, this would be done by a set of sequel on World War II and the current day and a third installment in the Dawn of Justice period. Since there is been no statement about Wonder Woman 2 in the present schedule of DC films, which goes all the to 2020, well, this is possible to be left alone for now, it would be the best for the fans.
If the rumor is true, this would imply that Wonder Woman is either ages very slowly or immortal in the cinematic universe of DC. Either way, it would seem that she will be a little bit aging and have more experience than Batman or Superman in their shared cinematic universe. The notion of a powerful woman character like Wonder Woman exploiting a world experiencing the early days of women's freedom could be compelling definitely in the right hands, so hopefully fans should wait until DC discloses the film's said plot.
The release date of Wonder Woman is on June 23, 2017.
