Lindsay Lohan lawsuit news reported that the "Speed The Plow" actress and her brother, Michael Lohan Jr, are being sued for $60 Million.

According to Lindsay Lohan lawsuit news reported by Eyewitness News, the Lohan siblings are facing a lawsuit from a website developer named Fima Potik. In line with the case, the two were also issued with a temporary restraining order last week from Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Saliann Scarpulla prohibiting them to promote an app named "Vigme".

Lindsay Lohan lawsuit news involving Fima Potik started a few months ago after their alleged former partner issued claims that she and her brother Michael Jr. stole their "virtual closet" app idea.

According to the report from TMZ, the actress and her brother allegedly made a deal with Fima Potik. The said tech entrepreneur reportedly had a startup project called "Spotted Friend". With the app, users can supposedly get a glimpse of what's inside celebrities' closets.

Users have the option of buying the celebrities' clothes, and a portion of the sales gets shared between the former star owners and app developers.

TMZ recalled that the former "Mean Girls" lead character even tweeted about "Spotted Friend" in July 2013.

However, the team behind the virtual closet app reportedly parted ways. The Lohan siblings then decided to develop an app similar to "Spotted Friend", called "Vigme".

The celebrity family's plan to launch a similar app reached their former partners. The developers have reportedly issued a cease and desist order and threatens to file a formal lawsuit to prevent Lindsay Lohan and her team from releasing the said app.

The lawyer of Lindsay Lohan responded to lawsuit news: "Allegations of any impropriety in Lindsay Lohan's business relationship concerning this Web site are inaccurate and clearly designed to capitalize on her worldwide recognition as a fashion icon."
