2014 Celebrity Photo Leaks: Actress Gabrielle Union's Confronts Apple In 'Fappening' Fiasco, 'You'd Hope They'd Care As Much About You As You Do About iPhone 6.'
2014 Celebrity Photo Leaks. Reports say that the 2014 celebrity photo leaks, commonly referred to as the Fappening has not died down and Oscar winner J. Lawrence is still under threat of more photo leaks. Celebs are taking to the Internet to express their misgivings about the month-long release of private nude photos by image sharing site 4Chan. Actress Gabrielle Union revealed her comments about the 2014 celebrity photo leaks on the sidelines of a Cosmopolitan conference.
Gabrielle was vacationing with her husband Dwyane Wade along with her children, when the photo leaks went live. Furious over the callousness of hackers, she said, I didn't do anything wrong-no matter what people describe to me, 'It's your fault, you're stupid to take nude photos, that's what happens when you're a celebrity'-all this nonsense, ... they're criminals. A hacking scandal? We're lessening it, making it more palatable for mass consumption, but it's a crime," the latinpost reports.
She continued to say that the leaked photo of her is no different than her "skimpy bikinis," adding, "... what's the difference? The difference is that you are the one who chooses whether to show your body," she said. "In addition, some of the stolen photos reportedly depict women when they were underage -- that's child pornography."
Union was furious at Apple for the breach of security on the iCloud saying, All of the 100 women who were targeted were Apple users. You would think the companies would be more helpful in taking the illegally-obtained images down, and they were not as helpful as you'd think as consumers. You'd hope they'd care as much about you as you do about the new iPhone 6." reports Gawker.com.
