'Five Fingers' Chae Si Ra knew that her mother-in-law has Alzheimer's disease, but still neglected her.
On the 2nd episode of the new SBS weekend drama 'Five Fingers'(Screenplay by Kim Soon Ok/Produced by Choi Young Hoon) that aired on August 19th, Chae Young Rang(Chae Si Ra) figured out that her mother-in-law Min Ban Wol(Na Moon Hee) showed signs of Alzheimer's disease.
Chae Young Rang massaged her mother-in-law Min Ban Wol until she fell asleep. Chae Young Rang stopped as soon as she thought she fell asleep. Min Ban Wol asked, "Where are you going? Are you already tired to do it? Why does a girl like you who just got married have no strength? You still don't have a baby?", and grabbed Chae Young Rang's wrist.
Chae Young Rang thought it was weird that her mother-in-law treated her like she is a new daughter-in-law. She then took her mother-in-law to the hospital. So that her husband Yoo Man Se(Jo Min Ki) doesn't find out, she secretly took her to a hospital that her friend works at.
Min Ban Wol was diagnosed at the hospital with the start of a senior Alzheimer's disease. Her friend told Chae Young Rang, "I'll prescribe medicine, so hurry up and start now," but Chae Young Rang didn't tell anyone of this.
