James Franco's Paper stunt Saturday is one of the "127 Hours" actor's weirdest stunts to date.
James Franco's Paper stint on Google Hangouts yesterday was quite expected from the actor, known for his equally wacky (or disturbing) Instagram stunts.
Franco hosted a 45-minute session at Google Hangouts Saturday and offered himself at the mercy of the select audience. The session was part of Paper Magazine's recent campaign to "break the Internet," which kicked off with Kim Kardashian posing nude on the cover.
The experiment was somewhat expected of the actor, who gave in quite willingly to the commands of random Internet users. James Franco twerked while singing happy birthday, wore bunny ears, licked a sock puppet, wore a tutu, and sprayed himself with whipped cream, among many things.
The Paper Magazine "event" came with the #MakeJamesDo handle, and some of the stunts are documented in James Franco's Instagram account (gawker.com).
The Paper Magazine website teased the event, with tie-in to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, L.A. (with links to adopt distressed animals as pets).
"Have you ever wanted to boss James Franco around? Well today is your lucky day, because James wants to submit to all of your commands. Today at 1 pm EST, James Franco and Paper kick off our #MakeJamesDo Google+ Hangout as part of our bonkers new #BreakTheInternet Issue. You may have heard of it. Kim Karadshian's ~BUTT~ may have set the world ablaze, but Franco is ready to BRING. THE. HEAT.
#MakeJamesDo is all about putting James to work. Want him to do situps? Done. Write you a poem? Yep. Twerk in a tutu while singing "Santa Baby" to a puppy and eating a turkey sandwich? Duh. Everything is in his fans' control and anything goes."
James Franco's Paper stunt was staged in a Beverly Hills hotel. Check out the actor's other antics at the official James Franco Instagram account.
