A "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" spinoff has been suggested by Mama June's daughter, Anna Cardwell, which triggered a backlash from the tabloids.

Anna Cardwell suggested on her Facebook account that TLC should create "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" spinoff. She wrote on social media, as RadarOnline noted, "What do y'all think about a spin off show [?]"

Anna Cardwell quickly added, "but I don't think it will work though."

RadarOnline commented that Anna Cardwell's realization about the "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" spinoff not working is "an understatement, as the family scandal tore the TLC show apart and caused Caldwell's horrifying childhood secret to be revealed."

Earlier, Anna Cardwell revealed that she was a victim of child molestation by Mark McDaniel, the lover of her mother, when she was just eight.

According to MailOnline, the idea of a "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" spinoff "sounds shocking considering Anna was at the center of the child molestation firestorm that caused TLC to cancel" the show on October 24.

The child molester was jailed for 10 years and was just released. TMZ broke the story that Mama June and Mark McDaniel resumed their dalliance which prompted the network to cancel "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

Mama June has repeatedly denied that she's seeing the registered sex offender again following his released from prison, despite many reports to the contrary.

But Anna Cardwell, Mama June's 20-year-old daughter, in an article published on Us Weekly weighed in on the Honey Boo family scandal said that she felt betrayed by her mother by getting back together with Mark.

"It's like she's happy. She's smiling and laughing and giggling when he's around," she said. "You know, he's a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?" Cardwell said.
