There's frenzy on Black Friday deals on computers and a caboodle of devices, a week before the big day.

Retailer offers on Black Friday deals, on computers and other handheld devices, should make anyone salivate for more than yams and turkey come Thanksgiving Day.

Manufacturers, especially the giants in tech Apple, Samsung, and LG have just released their lineup of Black Friday deals, available for purchase at their online website. Retailers like Best Buy, Target, and smaller stores have followed suit.

While there are plenty of retailer offers to choose from, preordered and payable by plastic (some also charged late in favor of the holidays), some stores chose to keep deliveries and shipping local, some requiring walk-ins and pick-ups.

Micro Center has an entire catalog of offers, discounted or otherwise, though it takes some serious sifting to find Black Friday deals worth biting into.

"When a retailer has a now-retro name like Micro Center, it should come as no surprise that its Black Friday specials require in-store pickup. That's not bad news for those close to one of its locations that dot the country in various states (California, Minnesota, and Virginia, amongst others), though it's unfortunate for the rest of us." Dell Black Friday deals also include an unexpected selection of products, TVs and gaming consoles in particular. It's expected to update its lineup next week, with mobile devices and computers to boot.

"For example, come 6 p.m. ET on November 27, you'll be able to get a Sony PlayStation 4 with Grand Theft Auto V and Last of Us: Remastered for $399.99. You can also grab the excellent JBL Pulse Bluetooth speaker for $149.99 at 8 a.m. ET on November 28.

Tablets, laptops, desktops and monitors can also be had throughout the holiday weekend, including the Android-powered Dell Venue 7 or Venue 8 Pro with Windows 8.1 pictured above for $149.99 each." (cnet.com)

Watch out for updates on Samsung and Apple Black Friday deals to come, with sweeter discounts expected next week.
