Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer Release On December 2015 Attached To Hobbit 3?

Recently, JJ Abrams finalized the production of his highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens with just more than a year ago before its premiere in December 2015. The Force Awakens teaser will be released a month after The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, leading to some speculations. This grain of salt is significant to take the new development about Episode VII.

The Hobbit and Star Wars are two film series that catch the same viewership, so having the chance to watch a preview of Force Awakens before Bilbo and Thorin's final fight would only lead to more excitement for the last installment in the Hobbit trilogy. Five Armies is going to be the last "real life" experience for now, so this is Disney's last opportunity to utilize a comparable title as a jump start for the first footage of the Force Awakens. So Disney would be targeting the same audience if they went this direction. In a manner, this could be believed as The Hobbit passing the torch to Star Wars. As the Middle Earth saga of Peter Jackson has dominated the box office when the first Lord of the Ring, The Fellowship of The Ring released in 2001, the same time frame The Force Awakens release.

The fans' first look of Episode VII will be a very significant event, no matter which movie the trailer gets connected to. People just want to watch something official from Star Wars.

Although, it seems that fans will be getting the first glimpse of the new episode of Star Wars in December. That "enough" will lead to celebration and lets everyone to anticipate the next Christmas Season. Whether the finale of the Hobbit or Into the Woods, or even Mickey Mouse will be released first, December 2015 will be worth the wait.
