Director David Ayer will start shooting Warner Bros. Suicide Squad in different locations around Toronto Canada. Based on the report of the Global News, screen adaptation of the DC Comics supervillain team production will start mid-April to August.
In recent months, casting rumor for the said film has been circulating. Margot Robbie of The Wolf of Wall Street is being considered to play Harley Quinn, Jared Leto is reportedly being eyed to play the Joker and Jai Courtney of Terminator: Genisys, Divergent are in talks to play Deadshot.
Casting rumors for Suicide Squad have been swirling in recent months. Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) is reportedly up for the role of the Joker. Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) is being considered to play Harley Quinn.
Lex Luthor will be played by Jesse Eisenberg from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in Suicide Squad.
Will Smith and Tom Hardy have also been said to play Captain Boomerang and founding member Rick Flag, none of these casting rumors have been confirmed yet.
Recently, Leto has addressed rumors that he'll play the Joker in the supervillain film under the DC Entertainment property, by preventing the issue of whether or not the speculations are true altogether.
