It is roughly a year until the release date of the much awaited Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and that seems very close to viewing the probably frustratingly short and tantalizing trailer for the movie. As the Christmas season approaches, all speculations and rumors lead to December has being the chosen month for this all significant unveiling. What's varied from each report, on the other hand, is just how Lucasfilm and Disney tend to have the most hotly anticipated trailer premier. Some reports are circulating they will release the first trailer for The Force Awakens on ABC, like the first Avengers trailer was done to launch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The other circulating rumor including the The Force Awakens trailer release that it would launch with The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies. From a marketing point of view that has the rationality of a crossover between Star Wars and The Hobbit fans, this rumor has already been denied. The Force Awakens trailer may be released with The Hobbit.
Various new sources say, Lucas Film and Disney got something bigger in mind for the first Star Wars trailer premiere. This latest speculation states that Disney will possibly debut the 90 second The Force Awakens trailer in a hundred theaters nationwide in the coming weekend.
ComicBook.com cited Reddit, say that Disney has also confirmed these 100 cinemas to have Big Hero 6 their earliest schedule this coming weekend. If this is official, then the Force Awakens trailer will be in front of Disney's own Big Hero 6 and will then continuously running all weekend.
Moreover, it will be Thanksgiving in the U.S. on Thursday, the coming weekend is basically a big box office gainer, and nothing would add on the numbers for Big Hero 6 more than having it with the premiere for The Force Awakens. With that having said, it does look there has been definitely no statement from Disney about premiering the trailer a week from now.
