Sony pictures are not doing a film about the life of Steve Jobs, former Apple CEO. After the death of Steve Jobs in 2011, the company purchased the rights to make a movie based on the life of the famous CEO based on the work of Walter Isaacson.
After that, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and more presently Michael Fassbender have been linked with the lead role. However, reports say Sony has to struggle to squeeze in the film into its schedule.
Danny Boyle, was scheduled to direct the film, has other films to begin work the following year.
There are also reports about Fassbender had a clash in scheduling, as he is in line to work on the next series of films for X-Men. It is the thought to take over the project that Universal Pictures could take.
Hollywood has long been keen in the story of Mr Jobs who was a master and charismatic figure at showing Apple's latest products, basically wearing blue Levi jeans, trainers and a black turtle neck.
After establishing Apple with Steve Wozniak, his career took dramatic turns in the late 1970s, he was ousted in a boardroom coup in the 1980s.
After ten years he returned in Apple when the company was into trouble and continued over during the most valuable US firm and producer of greatly successful iPhone. Of course! It is understood that Universal Pictures may now catch the film.
As for Michael Fassbender was to replace hotly tipped Bale, while Seth Rogen was referred to be playing the role of Steve Wozniak along with Jessica Chastain in an undisclosed role.
Sorkin has utilized Job's life by Walter Isaacson for the movie which revolves on three high profile and stressful life of the Apple owner that successfully launched Machintosh in 1984 and iPod in 2001.
