He realized he did not have much time left as he said, "I won't be in this world much longer. If I don't fix this now, my Eun Gi will suffer."
Han Jae Hee found out through Ahn Min Young that Seo Jung Kyu was not going to forgive her so she pulled out the evidence of Seo Jung Kyu's corruption from a bank safe. She got the evidence from an informant when she was a reporter five years ago.

After Han Jae Hee checked the documents at the motel, she refused the evidence and told the informant to "make a deal with Seo Jung Kyu with the documents".
The informant became suspicious of Han Jae Hee and thought she had a relationship with Seo Jung Kyu. Then the drunken informant attempted to rape Han Jae Hee. In the end, while trying to protect herself, Han Jae Hee killed the informant by bashing his head with a bottle and kicking him.
