News on the "James Bond 24" casting hints comeback of a familiar villain.

With the "James Bond 24" release date confirmed for October 23, 2015, director Sam Mendes isn't pulling any punches in the story and in the casting. New reports hint he may even bring back a previous villain with a score to settle against 007.

The official title for the next Bond movie has been announced. "Bond 24: Spectre" also comes with a notable cast ensemble. Judi Dench ("M") died in "Skyfall," and will be replaced by a new MI:6 head in "C," played by Andrew Scott.

The confirmed cast includes Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Andrew Scott as Denbigh, David Bautista as Mr. Hinx, with a few characters and actors also hinted.

There's a rumored reveal on a James Bond villain, though. Jesper Christensen played Mr. White in two of Craig's Bond films, and the character's outcome was up for speculation in "Quantum of Solace." Mr. White survived the end of the film, leaving room for a comeback (au.ibtimes.com).

Christensen told in an interview with Euroman that he is "looking forward to working with Sam Mendez and Daniel Craig." The actor apparently is also privy to the development of the script, commenting it's truly exciting, with a very capable team on the helm.

Sam Mendes teases fans of the franchise that "Bond 24: Spectre" would have a little more variety and mischief this time, which could mean anything from plot twists to multiple villains. The movie has James Bond on a mission to reveal the identity of SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) after receiving clues to its existence.

The "James Bond 24" casting involves quite an ensemble of actors, and with Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris reprising their roles from the previous installments, the acting credits for the new Bond film won't disappoint.
