The "Ghostbusters 3" cast involves a dream team of A-list female actresses, according to a report.

Director Paul Feig confirmed the "Ghostbusters 3" cast would be a stark opposite to the original, that is, an all-female ensemble will fill the shoes of Bill Murray's foursome. The rumor mill is abuzz ever since word spread of an A-list lineup being considered, though.

Jennifer Lawrence's name recently came up for the running, when the "Hunger Games" actress confirmed she met Feig for dinner. J-Law only hinted as much, but it's enough to keep her fans' hopes up.

"I actually met with the director. I had dinner with him. I sure did."

A number of stars have apparently joined the bandwagon, contributing their lists on who should be part of the Ghostbusters 3 dream team. Among others, Lawrence, "Divergent" Shailene Woodley, and even Anne Hathaway are immediately added to the lineup of hopefuls, though yet unconfirmed.

It turns out Jennifer was clueless about the Ghostbusters franchise, even though the film has only two films to speak of. She may be feigning ignorance, as "Hunger Games" co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson disappointedly looks at her in an interview.

"I didn't know there was a 'Ghostbusters 2. Who's in '2′?... Sequels are never as good."

Shailene Woodley has a handful of viable actors in mind for the "Ghostbusters 3" cast. "I think Emma Stone would bring so much comedic value to that. She's so funny. And you know, I really love this actress called Juno Temple." (mtv.com)

"Bridesmaids" star Rebel Wilson has also confirmed she met Paul Feig, that their conversation touched on the new Ghostbusters movie. She declined on the details, but said on the Today Show "I'd do [Ghostbusters 3] for free...I probably shouldn't say that live on TV." (avclub.com)
