Actor Jo Seung Woo highly praised director Goo Hye Sun.
At the press preview for the movie 'Peach Tree', Jo Seung Woo described Goo Hye Sun as "a director with the most vigor and initiative," at the CGV Wangshimri in Seoul on the 24th.
Jo Seung Woo starred as main character Sang Hyun in Goo Hye Sun's second full-length film 'Peach Tree'. Jo Seung Woo has never acted with Goo Hye Sun so through this movie, they met for the first time as an actor and director.
He said, "Actress Goo Hye Sun is also great, but I met Goo Hye Sun as a director. Of all the directors I worked with, she is the most beautiful because she has the most vigor, the most initiative, films the quickest, and also pesters the actors the least."
Jo Seung Woo then said, "I dully worked with male directors in the past. I'm worried about how I will film movies again. Director Goo Hye Sun is an incredible person."
Unwilling to be beaten, Ryu Deok Hwan said, "Although she has a soft appearance, she is very good at directing actors and since she is an actress herself, she is really generous towards the actors. She knows how to coax out emotions so I think the set was a bit comfortable in that aspect."
Ryu Deok Hwan made the press laugh as he said, "Well, first of all, I felt energized just by looking at her."
'Peach Tree' is a story about siamese twin brothers Sang Hyun (played by Jo Seung Woo) and Dong Hyun (played by Ryu Deok Hwan) and a woman they meet, Seung Ah (played by Nam Sang Mi). The brothers want to create a children's book so they meet with Seung Ah, who is an illustrator. The movie is about their encounters and will premiere on October 31st.
