PC gamers have to bulk up their hardware if they want to meet the Witcher 3 system requirements.
CD Projekt Red isn't pulling any punches with the specs; a minimum of 6GB is required! That's if you want to keep your sanity playing the game.
The official Witcher 3 system requirements for the PC have just been announced. Some gamers may need enough time to save up for the hardware upgrade. The game kicks dual-core gamers into the curb, for starters, with an Intel i5-2500K 3.3GHz the required minimum for the processor.
Some gamers won't have any qualms with the specs, but for others, the console versions may offer the better alternative. The "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" release date is heavily anticipated, due in part to the notorious delays. CD Projekt Red insisted it needed more time to ensure as few bugs in the game as possible when it launches.
Witcher 3 is still playable with a dual-core processor, but is expected to offer the same frustration Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition do when played on subpar specs.
The Witcher 3 release date is set on May 19, moved from its previous February launch. Gamespot reported the minimum and recommended Witcher 3 system requirements for PC rigs. Gamers have enough time to bulk up theirs.
