It has been revealed that all shooting from SBS drama "The Great Seer" had to shut down after the Korea Broadcast Actors Union, published a statement saying that the actors have not been paid any kind of money for the past two months since the drama started its production back in October. Lead actors Ji Sung, Ji Jin Hee, Song Cheung Ui, and Lee Yong Ji are part of Korea Broadcast Actors Union.
The statement also revealed, that the producers have been warned about his issue in the past, as the actors voiced their concerns, but they were ignored by producers, due to other issues regarding the production.
A representative from SBS said "We are currently in negotiations with the parties involved and we are trying to resolve this problem so that the broadcast schedules will not be affected"
In defense, the producers released a statement saying that it was not exactly true that they did not receive any money, and they did promise to solve the issue soon.
The actors resumed filming on the 9th with the promise that they will get paid on the 11th.
