Good news, "The Blacklist" fans! The NBC show will officially return with a special post-Super Bowl episode on Sunday, February 1 before returning to its new regular time slot on Thursday, February 1! That's right, two episodes in one week. Now, what does "The Blacklist" team have in store for us? Spoilers, synopsis, and promo video coming your way!

"Luther Braxton," which is set to air directly after the Super Bowl at 10:15 PM ET, marks the show's return with a big bang. On the special February 1 show, we will see the first part of the two-hour midseason premiere. Care for some Episode 9 spoilers?

"The task force tries to save Red when he's arrested and taken to a secret detention facility," explains the TV Guide synopsis.

It adds, "At the facility, Red tangles with a thief (Ron Perlman) with whom he shares a complicated history."

Only 4 days later, on February 5, "The Blacklist" will be back on our screens yet again with "Luther Braxton: Conclusion."

Airing at its new regular time slot of 9:00 PM ET on Thursday night, we will get to see the second part and conclusion of the two-hour midseason premiere.

According to TV Guide, in Episode 10, "FBI boss Cooper tries to rescue his team in the wake of chaos at a detention facility."

"Elsewhere, thief Luther Braxton (Ron Perlman) attempts to attain confidential information," says the synopsis.

Ron Perlman will play Luther Braxton, the namesake of this two-part episode. The veteran actor played Clarence 'Clay' Morrow on the recently concluded FX series "Sons of Anarchy" in addition to voicing The Lich on Cartoon Network's "Adventure Time."
