"Insurgent" cast Ansel Elgort shared that he felt an amazing rush after having participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Madison Square Garden last Friday.
In a video posted on Instagram, the 20-year-old actor said: "I had an amazing rush when I went out there, but I think I'd rather watch cause I'm not a basketball player and I was a little bit embarrassed, I missed a wide open lay-up."
"But it's OK, I came back and hit a couple of free throws at the end and that sealed the deal for us so that made me feel good," he added.
According to E! News, "Insurgent" cast Ansel Elgort played with Nick Cannon, Sarah Silverman, Jesse Williams ("Grey's Anatomy"), Anthony Anderson ("Blackish"), Win Butler (Arcade Fire singer), former Warriors player Chris Mullin, WNBA player Skylar Diggins and baseball player Mo'ne Davis.
"The celebs were in great spirits," said the article. "When Hart and Cannon were introduced at the same time, they had a dance off, which Cannon won after Hart admitted defeat, E! News has learned. Also during the game, Elgort and Silverman joked around with each other a lot. And the actor, naturally, drew many cheers from his fans in the crowd."
NBA.com said that the West marched on to victory featuring a balanced attack. Diggins and Robert Pera, owner of the Grizzlies, each scored 13 points. Chris Mullin, Jesse Williams and Win Butler each scored eight apiece.
Three-time All-Star Celebrity Game MVP Kevin Hart, meanwhile, scored 15 points as he was paired most of the time against Mo'ne Davis.
Shailene Woodley's co-star in "The Fault in Our Stars" told NBA.com: "We definitely turned it up in the second half. Skylar (Diggins) played really well for us. You know, give the ball to the professional athlete and get out of the way."
