Looks like a bad news for Chris Brown's Canadian fans as he was forced to cancel two shows on his "Between the Sheets" tour in Canada.

After being turned away at the Canada-U.S. border, Brown cancelled his Tuesday-night concert in Montreal and another show in Toronto.

Breezy took to his Twitter on Tuesday afternoon and wrote, "Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto."

He followed up with another tweet stating that Canadian government did not allow him entry. Brown said, he hopes that he sees all his Canadian fans when he will be back this summer. According to LATimes, both tweets were taken down almost immediately after being posted.

According to CBC News, Brown was scheduled to perform at the Bell Center on Feb. 24 and at Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 25 night. Brown revealed in his tweets that both shows were sold out.

Nicole Perna, spokeswoman for Brown, confirmed Canadian immigration officials denied his entry, wherein she said, he can apply to return at a later date and he plans to do so. The promoter, Live Nation, said that refunds are available at the point of purchase.

One group of disappointed fans told CBC News that they had travelled from New York to see the show. Meanwhile, a heavy police presence kept watch outside the Bell Center on Tuesday, Feb. 24 night.

MTV noted that the reason for not allowing Brown to cross the border is not yet known, however, multiple reports suggest it's possibly linked to his criminal history.

It can be recalled that the R&B star was on probation after he attacked his then-girlfriend Rihanna before the Grammy Awards in 2009. Brown was jailed for almost three months in 2014 for violating his probation by getting into a brawl outside Washington hotel. In 2013, Breezy was arrested for felony assault in Washington D.C.
