The "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date has been reportedly set to November 2015 by Konami.
Gamepur reported that Hideo Kojima explained why the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date can't be moved to earlier date stating that the development for the "editing" portion of the game has just recently begun.
"The phase of adjustment takes place before the phase of difficulty setting or debugging. Putting together all the elements based on the plan. Checking like is it alright? is it fun?or good in balance? and fix those is the most important phase for action game. It's close to editing phase in term of film making but for game development this is the beginning of the main part," said Hideo Kojima.
While the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date cannot be moved to an earlier date, reports suggest that "MGSV: TPP" is going to be launched this November 2015.
Cyberland has reported that the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date has been reportedly set by Konami to November 2015 and the report notes that the alleged reason for the delay is due to Hideo Kojima wanting to release a finished game rather than release a buggy game.
"Konami will release the Phantom Pain sometime this November 2015. Apparently, Kojima really wants to put out a polished game instead of releasing a broken game" wrote Cyberland.
It should be noted that Konami Executive, Tora Shiro, revealed on NeoGAF that he knows the release date of the game but Konami Japan has the final say on when to announce the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date.
"Not being able to announce a release date is just as annoying on our side. HQ gonna HQ a little longer," said Tora Shiro on NeoGAF.
Tora Shiro then revealed that he knows more than he is supposed to know, hinting that the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date could be set but not yet announced.
