“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster has been open about her battle with Lyme disease during the past couple seasons of the show.
Due to her recent health struggles, Yolanda Foster was reportedly unable to fully participate in taping the reunion for RHOBH, according to Access Hollywood.
“Battling lyme disease has taken a toll on [Yolanda Foster],” an insider reportedly told Radar Online, according to The Inquisitr.
The source added, “The reunions are typically filmed between the final episodes of the season. [Yolanda] wanted to be a part of it, but because of her ongoing treatment, and memory issues she needed the reunion to film earlier than it had been scheduled. The producers consulted with the other ladies, and they had no problem with doing it earlier.”
Although the RHOBH reunion taping took a total of eight hours, Yolanda Foster was reportedly only able to participate for two.
“It would have just been way too hard for her to do the entire day,” the source stated.
Filming the RHOBH reunion was reportedly a “very emotional” experience for Yolanda Foster, who spoke honestly with host Andy Cohen about her battle with Lyme Disease.
The mother of up-and-coming supermodel Gigi Hadid had previously spoken about her struggles with Lyme Disease via social media and Bravo blogs.
“I have lost the ability to read, write or even watch TV, because I can’t process information or any stimulation for that matter,” Foster wrote in a January 15 blog post.
She added, “It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it.”
