“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice reported to prison earlier this year to serve her 15-month prison sentence.
However, her life at Danbury Federal Prison may have gotten a little more upsetting as Teresa Giudice has reportedly been feeling disconnected from her husband Joe and her four daughters, according to RadarOnline.
When Teresa calls, her family “can’t always pick up,” according to a source, which has reportedly led the mother-of-four feeling the reality of the separation that she’s been having to deal with for a couple months now.
“Teresa has hit a wall and she’s feeling the blues because she’s fully faced the reality of what living in prison and being cut off from loved ones means,” a source told the entertainment website.
The insider added, “Time just seems to go by so slowly.”
Teresa Giudice’s family has reportedly failed to visit the cookbook author every weekend as well.
“She lives for those visits and it upsets Teresa so much when they don’t happen,” the source stated.
The insider continued, “There have been a lot of tears over it.”
Despite her family reportedly not being able to visit as frequently, the RHONJ cast member has been keeping busy in prison. Teresa Giudice reportedly landed a job in the kitchen of Danbury Federal Prison, according to the NY Daily News.
“She’s not in laundry, she’s in the kitchen cooking,” a source for the news outlet reportedly stated.
Teresa has also reportedly been receiving fan mail from RHONJ fans.
“She [is reading] them. She isn’t writing back, though, she doesn’t have the time,” the source explained.
