Rapper Kanye West makes a style statement at Fashion Week as his latest song dedicated to his wife Kim Kardashian surfaced online.
Kardashian flashed her new platinum blonde look in style along with her plunging Givenchy jumpsuit in Paris. Right behind her, West made another fashion statement as he stepped out in high-heel boots en route to the Givenchy show during the Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, March 8.
The 37-year-old rapper sported the velvet stompers en route to the Givenchy fashion show. Although the high-heel boots at first went somewhat unnoticed as they boasted the same shade as the rest of Kanye's attire, Us Magazine noted that fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the bold style choice.
The "Only One" singer's plush footwear has him being compared to Shrek's Lord Farquaad, Mary J. Binge, Rick James to name a few.
That said, his ever-lasting style statement is not the only reason why West has been stirring up discussions.
According to Entertainment Weekly, strong rumors have been making rounds about the follow-up to West's Yeezus since the moment it dropped. Yeezus, is West's sixth studio album. If insider info is anything to go by, the album, now known as "So Help Me God" would include a song called "Awesome" dedicated to none other than his wife and reality star, Kardashian.
The recording surfaced on the Internet on March 11, and it indeed looks like a slow jam about the "KUWTK" star that refers to her "awesome" on almost every line. Entertainment Weekly noted that West also calls himself "awesome" several times. Citing this is West's second tender ballad dedicated to members of his immediate family, his recent bond with Paul McCartney, who may as well have invented the idea of the idyllic domesticity-themed LP with his first couple solo albums, make a lot more sense.
