'Deadly Profits' Patch 1.07 Changelog: AI Tweaks, Bug Fixes, Map Changes, Dungeon Change And More!

"Deadly Profits" was recently updated by the devs and the full changelog for patch 1.07 has been unveiled on the official Steam page of the game.

According to the devs, these are the changes made in patch 1.07 of "Deadly Profits".

  • Crafting window has been adjusted due to the material requirement change this patch.
  • Crafted Items now only take 4 materials to create down from the original 8 required materials.
  • All Items have had their materials readjusted to cover the range of available materials as well as had their components reduced from 8 to 4.
  • Delete character button has been added to the entry screen, this will reset all of your player files and allow you to start a fresh character.
  • A new window prompting are you sure you want to delete your character has been added as a safety net for those who accidentally click the delete button.
  • The reagent hotbars have all been reduced to showing only the runestone reagents.
  • Runestones are now the only reagent ingame, reducing the total reagent number from 10 to 4. This will make reagent collecting less of a chore and more second nature.
  • The amount of loot containers has been reduced even further, to compensate reagents are now collected in 20 stacks per loot. This also will speed up the looting process and make reagents less of a chore and more second nature. Loot containers no longer container materials.
  • Monsters loot chance has been greatly reduced, however when they do contain loot it will now only be a random amount of materials. This with the loot container change will make it so the player can decide if they wish to stop and collect reagents from containers or stop and collect materials from monster corpses. Overall providing the player with more information and speeding up the process.
  • Experience per character level has on average be halved. This should speed up access to more spell varieties earlier in gameplay. Spell experience rate remains unchanged.
  • The cause of some glitchy entrance monsters has been fixed.
  • Around a dozen bugged items that were showing odd stat numbers have been fixed.
  • The frogman's attack animations have been fixed.
  • The vampire bats death animation has been fixed.
  • The reagent hotbar inside of inventory has been changed to reflect the removed reagents.
  • Loot containers in the boss chamber has once again been reduced further.
  • Dragon, hydra, wyvern, warlord, cyclops, black dragon, ogre, and more have had attack range increased and run speed increased. This will prevent the monsters from being half on top of you before they can hurt you, and also make them less likely to be kited.
  • Alot of other things have been adjusted and added overall, this should be a major game play change. Looking forward to your feedback.
  • Dungeon Length has been reduced by around 50%, this with the looting changes should greatly speed up the length of a dungeon run.
