"Cold Contract" was recently updated on Steam and the devs released the full patch changelog on the official Steam page of the game.
Version 1.14 is now released and brings new elements according to several comments.
*** IMPORTANT ***
All of these changes bring an incompatibility with all previous saves of the 1.13.
Some strange behaviors was encountered with new values of weapons, AI actions and the world generator for interception sectors when loading a 1.13 save.
We think that all elements we have added, worth the price of this sacrifice.
List of changes:
- a covering marker has been added on the ground defining the level of protection of each adjacent tile
- a numerical value for the action points has been added for the selected mercenary
- a numerical value has been added for the ammo of the current weapon
- the music played when an enemy is detected has been lowered in frequency of appearance
- several new message boxes have been added on each 2d panels in order to introduce them
- a new marker in order to identify civilians, reactive objects, hostages, has been added
- the area of firing has been modified to better reflect the accuracy of the weapon
- the hunting behavior of the AI has been activated for the first level of enemies (before it was activated for level ten and higher)
- the sound detection sensor the AI has been activated for the first level of enemies (before it was activated for level five and higher)
- the color of all textures for the 2d panels has been modified to be more consensual
- all required values of weapons have been tuned to be more realist
- some new tiles have been added in the world generator for the sector of the bastion
- some minor bugs have also been corrected
The English manual has been updated with more informations.
